Returns and Refunds
We want you to be completely happy with every order. If something is not right, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
Our return window
We offer a 14-day return policy on in-stock items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible, items must be in the same condition in which you received them: unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at help@catholichomeschoollife.com before sending anything back. Items returned without prior contact will not be accepted. Once your return is approved, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
In-stock items — gift shop and family formation books
In-stock items may be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original, unopened condition. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent, in which case we will cover the cost of return and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Curriculum and imported titles
Many of our curriculum titles are imported from the United States on a made-to-order basis as part of a group order, placed specifically on your behalf. Because of the significant lead times and international shipping costs involved, we ask that you choose carefully before ordering. We are always very happy to advise before you commit, so please do get in touch if you are unsure.
Your statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order applies to all purchases. However, because imported curriculum titles are ordered to order and cannot easily be restocked, refunds on these items in resaleable condition may be issued as store credit rather than to your original payment method. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items will always be refunded in full to your original payment method.
Curriculum bundles and sets
Curriculum sets and bundles that have been partially used are not eligible for return as they cannot be resold. We recommend reviewing your choices carefully before ordering and encourage you to contact us beforehand if you have any questions about levels or programmes. We would much rather help you choose the right thing first time.
Collection orders
Orders collected in person are subject to the same returns policy. Please inspect your order at the point of collection and raise any concerns with us before leaving.
Damages and incorrect items
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can put it right. Faulty or incorrectly sent items will be refunded in full, including return postage, within 10 business days of us receiving the goods back.
Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange an item is to return the original within the 14-day window and place a new order separately. Please contact us first so we can confirm availability.
Sale items and gift cards
We are unable to accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return we will notify you of the outcome. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the payment. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at help@catholichomeschoollife.com
