Students learn English grammar as they improve their skills to write and speak effectively.
By completing the text students will:
Recognize phrases, clauses, simple and compound sentences
Identify nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions

As with each workbook in Seton's English for Young Catholics series students will develop an appreciation for using correct grammar while incorporating the Catholic Faith as they learn.
While most of the exercises in this book teach students to identify parts of speech, writing original sentences using the parts of speech is regularly assigned.Â
